Preparing for your Inclusive Behaviors Inventory Certification Program

You are required to complete your Inclusive Behaviors Inventory (IBI), the IBI Certification Learning Module, and the IBI 360 prior to your program.  

  1. Click 'Inclusive Behaviors Inventory' under the Certifications section on the left navigation of your Aperian account. 
  2. In the 'Before your Session' box, click 'Complete the IBI.' More information on completing your IBI is available here.  
  3. In the 'Before your Session' box, click 'Complete the self-paced IBI Certification Learning Module.'  
  4. Navigate to IBI Home in order to administer the IBI 360 for yourself.  You will need to create a Group and invite yourself as the only member.  
  5. Under 'Groups you own,' you will see the option to 'Create Group.'  Click this to create the group.  
  6. Enter your email address in the 'Participants' field.  Make sure you select 'Yes' to 'Allow Participants to add their own IBI Raters.

  7. Click "Create Group" at the bottom of the screen. The Group will then be created.  You will need to accept the invitation to join this group you just created.  To do so, click the notification (bell) icon in the top right of your dashboard.  Accept the invitation here. You will now be a full member of the Group.
  8. Next, scroll down to "Groups You Own" and click the group you just created and joined. Within this, you will see the "Add Raters" option. Click the button, which will generate a drop-down menu with the option to "Invite Raters".
  9. Click Invite Raters and enter the email addresses of your Raters. You will need at least three Rater completions for the 360 portion of the report to appear. We recommend inviting between 4 and 6 potential Raters. See the Criteria for Selecting Raters here.

  10. Your Raters will receive an invitation by email to rate you. After clicking the link in the email, they will be prompted to sign up or log in to the platform, and then will be redirected to the survey. Please see the rater experience here that you are welcome to send to them for further information.

    1. Raters do not need paid access to GlobeSmart or the IBI.

    2. After three Raters complete the survey, your individual report will include the 360 section.

    3. Please have your report accessible for the date of the training.

  11. Click Add to Cal for each of the 3 sessions in order to add the full program to your calendar.  
  12. You will join your program from this page via a personalized Zoom link.  You can join your session up to 10 minutes before it starts.
