LinkedIn Learning offers different ways to promote content within its platform. This article describes the process of using Campaigns, Collections, and Learning Paths.
Campaigns
Campaigns are banners that promote content on the LinkedIn Learning homepage for your learners.
1. Under the Content menu, select Campaigns.
2. Click Create new Campaign
3. Add a campaign name, start and end date, and select the appropriate audience. Select Prioritize this campaign if desired.
4. Click Search for content
5. In the new window that appears, search GlobeSmart or whatever search term is appropriate to the content you'd like to display. You can filter the search as necessary to find the appropriate content.
6. Click Add next to the content you wish to promote.
7. You will see a preview of the Banner. You can add a custom message in the Banner Message field. This shows beneath the article or course title.
8. When ready, click Publish.
9. When your learners log in to LinkedIn Learning, they will see the promoted content in a Banner at the top of the homepage.
Collections
Create a group of GlobeSmart articles, or mix and match from other content providers, for easy navigation.
1. Go to Content -- Library, and click Add. Select Create Collection.
2. Select Create new
3. Upload a thumbnail image, add a collection title and description.
4. Choose who can find the content
5. Add Skills to the collection as needed. For example, much of GlobeSmart's content can apply to the skills Cultural Awareness or Diversity & Inclusion.
6. Fill out the rest of the fields and click Create.
7. Add content to the Collection, either by searching or linking directly.
8. You will see a preview of the content. Click Save and Publish.
9. You will be prompted to share the collection to colleagues if you wish.
Learning Paths
With Learning Paths, you can organize content into structured, sequential learning.
1. Go to Content -- Library, and click Add. Select Create Learning Path
2. Click Create New
3. Enter the Learning Path details and click Create
4. Begin to enter content into the structure that works best for your learners.
