Mission


At Aperian, we bridge boundaries through a deeper understanding of ourselves and others. As part of that mission, we strive to make sure our learning material is accessible as possible for the widest variety of learners, so we can meet people where they're at. 

We've committed to meeting Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA guidelines, a broadly accepted set of accessibility standards for online content. 

Our platform and learning assets support keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and employ sufficient color contrast in design elements. These functions make our web content more accessible for all users, regardless of their personal ability level.

 

Method

On an annual basis, Aperian partners with third-party auditors who review our platform, using a combination of automated and manual accessibility tests. Any identified issues are documented for our product development team to address.

Accessibility is a process, not a destination.  

As Aperian's product development team develops new features and products, they apply lessons learned from these audits and verify that new features, products, and content meet accessibility standards by using a set of accessibility created by experts in the field.
