Service Overview
The Aperian AI Content Integration Service enables organizations to enhance their internal Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI assistants—such as Microsoft Copilot—with Aperian’s industry-leading cross-cultural expertise. Through a secure API-driven retrieval model, your internal AI agent can query Aperian's vector database to retrieve specific, high-quality content on-demand, allowing your system to synthesize comprehensive responses that combine corporate-specific data with Aperian’s global insights.
The User Journey
This service is designed to be invisible to the end-user, providing a seamless experience within your existing ecosystem.
- User Interaction: An employee interacts with your internal AI assistant (e.g., "I'm traveling to Berlin for project XX; what should I know about gift-giving for the reception?").
- Relevance Triage: Your system analyzes the query. If the intent is identified as cultural, travel, or team-related, it triggers a request to Aperian. This triage is fully controlled on your end.
- Content Request: Your system calls Aperian’s intermediary API to request relevant content specifically tied to the cultural query (e.g., "Germany gift-giving etiquette").
- Retrieval (RAG Insertion): Aperian provides the raw, relevant content directly from our vectorized database. Aperian does not process this into readable text; we provide the verified source material for your own model to process.
- Local Synthesis: Your internal LLM combines Aperian’s cultural data with your internal project data to provide a unified, contextually accurate response to the employee.
Implementation and Security
- Aperian prioritizes the security of your data and the integrity of our intellectual property through a "Control and Retrieval" model.
- Data Sovereignty: Aperian does not store user conversations or sensitive client project data. Your system only sends the specific keywords or query embeddings necessary to find relevant cultural content.
- Authentication: Access is managed through secure, credentialed API keys.
- Content Freshness: The service connects to a vector database that is continuously updated with the latest GlobeSmart® insights as we update the content.
- Citations: Responses synthesized by your LLM should include a "Content provided by Aperian" citation, potentially linking users back to the Aperian platform for deeper exploration.
