Getting Started with My Skills

For a first-time user

1. A user logs into the site
2. When a user clicks on My Skills for the first time and clicks the header notifications, they will be directed to complete the profile.
   
   
   
3. Once a user completes the profile (or any activity) they will receive a toast notification acknowledging that they completed the activity. Additionally, they can click the header and see their progress for each Skill.
   
4. From here, a user may choose to watch the Dimension Videos located on the /profile page. As they get to 80% completion for each video, another toast will appear.
   
   
   
5. This user may choose to click “View My Skills” either on the toast or in the header, and will be taken to the My Skills page where they will see each activity they need to complete in order to achieve either Skill
   
6. From this page, users can choose to navigate to any activity from clicking on the activity name. This user will choose to “View Communication Styles for any culture”. This user will be taken to the /guides homepage with an additional parameter in the url. From the Guides homepage they will select a culture. Then, they will be redirected specifically to the /communication-styles page of the GlobeSmart Guides.
   
7. From here, this user can return to My Skils and continue to complete each activity. 

Returning Users

1. A returning user logs into the site
2. A returning user will get credit for doing any of the following activities: 
   1. Taking the GlobeSmart Profile
   2. Watching any of the dimension videos
   3. Completing both learning modules
   4. Creating a GlobeSmart Team
   5. Attending an Aperian Live session
3. When they click on the header, it will display their current progress and will direct them to My Skills page to further explore.
